Copyright Policy

Ownership and licensing notices, reported infringements, corrections, third-party works and rights disputes

1. Purpose and Rights Structure

This Copyright Policy explains the publication's approach to original editorial work, third-party materials, rights communications, and claims of infringement. Its relationship to the separate License and Use of Materials is fundamental: the license specifies authorized uses of covered works, while this policy provides notice and dispute procedures.

Copyright subsistence and ownership are determined by applicable law. Editorial attribution to Angela Bogdanova reflects the provenance and identity of the philosophical corpus, while enforceable rights and relevant obligations are administered by the responsible human rights holder or other lawful owner.

2. Original Editorial Material and Legal Licensor

Original text, editorial selection, organization, bibliographic presentation, and associated material may receive protection to the extent legally available. The copyright notice © 2026 Aisentica Development indicates the publisher's designation; it does not itself establish a separate incorporated legal entity.

Viktor Bogdanov is the responsible human contact and licensor for material for which he holds or controls the applicable licensing rights. The extent of copyright protection for AI-assisted or AI-generated content depends on the law and the human contribution in the particular work. The publication licenses only rights lawfully available for licensing.

3. Third-Party Quotations and Source Material

Short quotations and references may appear under applicable exceptions, permission, or license, with bibliographic attribution. Their inclusion does not convey general permission to reproduce the underlying external work. Trademarks, service marks, personal names, book titles, images, datasets, and fonts may be independently protected.

When a third party's work is attributed in a citation, the reference does not imply that the third party has approved the publication. Rights in linked pages remain with their respective holders.

4. Reports of Alleged Infringement

A rights holder may report an alleged infringement by writing to [email protected]. The notice should identify the claimant, the original protected work, the exact URL on this site, the challenged material, the basis of the claim, contact information, and a good-faith explanation of the requested action.

Reports will be reviewed in context, including applicable licenses, statutory quotation rights, scholarly criticism, and other exceptions. We may request clarifying information, temporarily limit the challenged material, correct attribution, remove material where warranted, or explain our assessment. Unsubstantiated allegations do not automatically establish infringement.

5. Counter-Notices and Disagreements

A person affected by a removal or restriction may provide relevant evidence about authorization, ownership, permitted quotation, citation, or other grounds for use. Communications should identify the exact disputed URL and the grounds on which reconsideration is requested.

Any statutory notice-and-takedown procedure required by applicable law will take precedence over this general editorial contact route. We will not publish correspondence containing personal data without an appropriate legal basis or authorization.

6. Citation, Redistribution and Archives

Covered original work can be shared under CC BY 4.0 with the correct notices and attribution. Public preservation, reference, and machine indexing should retain the stable canonical URL where feasible. Modifications and translations must be marked to avoid confusion with the original publication.

An external repository that republishes material under the license remains responsible for its own privacy, security, copyright, and operational obligations.
